Impact of the Program

AgLEAD will develop leaders both personally and professionally. A successful program will not only develop the individual leadership abilities of participants but also the community as a whole.
Professional Development:

• AgLEAD will provide professional networking opportunities with fellow classmates, presenters, program partners, legislators and countless other outlets
• Participants will help address current agricultural issues
• Presentation and program organization skills will be enhanced as participants moderate courses
• Diverse agricultural production practices will be will be articulated to participants

Personal Development:

• Participants will cultivate lifelong relationships
•  Participants will learn to address media members and develop effective communication skills
• The importance of legislative involvement will be highlighted to develop associated skills
• AgLEAD will familiarize class members with various aspects and agencies of the agricultural industry
