UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES:
Financial Aid
As a state sponsored university, tuition and fees are
much lower at UT Knoxville than at many other colleges and universities,
and living expenses in Knoxville are moderate. Students can help defray
the cost of their education by receiving scholarships, grants and work-study
jobs.
Numerous scholarships and other types of financial aid are available for
agriculture students, and a large percentage of the students in agricultural
and extension education receive some type of aid. Students in this program
are eligible for general University scholarships, ranging from $100 to
$6,000 per year, and for College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural
Resources scholarships, ranging from $600 to $3,000 per year. In addition,
special scholarships and intern opportunities are available specifically
for agricultural and extension education students. For more information,
go to the UTK Financial Aid Home Page.
